FAQ
The questions owners actually ask us.
01 Is EstateMate yet another property-management system?
No. The day-to-day, tenant contact, statements, contractors, stays with your manager. EstateMate sits above it and gives you, the owner, the overview: rents, loans, accounts, documents, every number backed by its source.
02 Do I have to change my manager or their software?
No. Your manager keeps their system and their routines. EstateMate works with what they deliver: exports, statements, lists. Connections to common systems are in preparation.
03 What actually happens to the data, and where does it live?
Your data lives in the EU and is processed under the GDPR. Your documents are never used to train AI models, and you can export everything at any time.
04 Can't I just build this myself with ChatGPT or Claude, with no running costs?
For one-off analyses it works surprisingly well. What it does not produce: a report that looks the same every quarter, numbers with their documents behind them, and monitoring that keeps running. Banks and shareholders expect exactly that.
05 How does my portfolio get in there? That sounds like a huge project.
It starts with one building. You hand over the documents, EstateMate reads them in, you review the result. No re-typing, no data-entry project.
06 What does it cost?
The price follows the number of units you hold; everything described is included. We work out the concrete offer in conversation.
07 Can we actually get a rent roll out of the system?
Yes, any time, on your own: a current rent roll with actual and target, vacancies flagged, as an export for the bank or the accountant. No requesting, no waiting.
08 I only have a few buildings. Is this even meant for me?
EstateMate is built for owners who hold their portfolio, delegate the day-to-day and want to know what is going on. The fastest way to see the fit is your own numbers: give us the documents for one building.
